Acceptable Use Policy
Cyclic is a Part 145 helicopter MRO quoting platform. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes uses of the platform that are not permitted. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account under the Terms of Service.
You may not
- Use the platform to attack, probe, or attempt to bypass the security of any other Operator's tenant data.
- Attempt to derive another tenant's identity, customer list, or content from anonymized statistics or telemetry the platform exposes.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract the source code or proprietary algorithms of the platform.
- Run automated scripts or agents that issue requests at a rate substantially above an interactive human's request rate, except for documented integrations such as the EBIS push, the manual upload, or your own API integrations once those become available.
- Upload OEM-published material (AMM, IPC, Service Bulletins, etc.) that you do not have a license or other authorization to use.
- Connect OEM portal credentials in a way that violates the OEM's terms of service or your account agreement with the OEM. The Operator is responsible for confirming that automated access is permitted before enabling a Cyclic scraper for a portal.
- Use the platform to store, transmit, or process material containing classified information, ITAR-controlled technical data, EAR-controlled technical data, or other export-controlled material, unless Cyclic has expressly enabled such use for your account in writing.
- Use the platform to send unsolicited bulk communications to your customers or third parties.
- Share your account credentials with anyone outside your authorized personnel, or use a single account to operate as multiple Operator entities.
- Use the platform in any way that would impose an unreasonable load on Cyclic's systems or interfere with other Operators' use of the service.
- Misrepresent your identity, your shop's certifications, or the FAA / EASA / equivalent status of any aircraft or maintenance work logged in the platform.
- Use the platform for any activity that violates applicable law, including aviation safety regulation, export control, sanctions, or privacy law.
Reporting violations
If you believe another user is violating this AUP, or you have noticed a security issue with the platform, please email hello@cyclicmro.com with details. We treat security reports confidentially.
Enforcement
Cyclic may suspend or terminate accounts for material AUP violations. Where practical we provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation. For violations that pose immediate risk to other Operators or to the integrity of the service, we may act without prior notice.
